Sunday February 3rd will be the 2nd Annual Simon Spine 5K., a great way to start your Super Bowl Sunday. The Simon Spine 5K is a perfect for everyone, runners or walkers. The race will begin immediately after the the start of the Fort Bend Kia Half Marathon, approximately 6:45 AM. This is a timed event, so run your best race. The event is also family friendly and will include runners of all ages. Every participant will receive a Finisher medal and a Simon Spine 5K shirt.
The event starts at the University of Houston – Sugar Land Campus, 1400 University BLVD, Sugar Land TX 77479.

The Race will include an awards ceremony for 1st thru 3rd place, male/female age groups.
The 5k is also part of the school challenge/fundraiser. School teams with at least 20 participants benefit by receiving a donation from the USA Fit Marathon Event of $5 per participant.
The school with the most participants will win the right to display our Fittest School Traveling Trophy for the next year and $250 in PE equipment. Jan Schiff Elementary is the 2017 and 2018 Fittest School.
The Simon Spine team will be at the tent stretching participants before and after the event, as well as answering any questions you might have.
Come out and log some miles before the turning your attention to Atlanta for the Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the LA Rams.
